TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE OF PRODUCTS BY DULWICH ACUPUNCTURE LTD.
These are the Terms and Conditions that govern and apply to all sales of products by Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd, a company incorporated in England under number 5815645, whose registered office is at:
18 Melbourne Grove, London, SE22 8RA.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions at any time to reflect the changes that may affect the business, e.g. market, laws and regulations, technology or payment methods. We advise customers to read these terms carefully before ordering any products. By ordering any products from Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd, you acknowledge that you have understood and agree to be bound by these terms. These Terms and Conditions were last updated in 29 May 2018
BASIS OF SALE:
- You must be over 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You agree to register with Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. and to provide personal details that are accurate and complete.
- You must be an authorised representative of the practitioner or organisation registered to enter into a contract.
- You will not create false accounts or impersonate another person or company.
- You must keep your registration and account details safe at all times.
INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCTS
The products are intended for the exclusive use of professionally trained acupuncturists, other suitably qualified practitioners or students of recognisable training colleges. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to supply any person not considered to meet this criteria and will refund the full amount according to our Returns and Refund Policy.
PRICES AND ORDERS
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd endeavours to give all its customers the best quality goods at fair prices.
Orders may be placed securely online or by phone. Discounts and special offers are available on certain products. For bulk and wholesale purchases please call the office directly to discuss details.
All prices may be subject to change without notice and Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right to amend prices or products whenever necessary, to reflect changes due to unforeseen circumstances
Every effort is taken to ensure that the information contained on our website is correct. However, Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. cannot be responsible for any errors in the description of products, prices wrongly quoted due to clerical error or guarantee availability of stock, discounts or any special offers.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will do its best to rectify errors and omissions as soon as possible but shall be under no obligation to fulfil your order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price or is out of stock. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will give you the option of confirming the order, or to cancel it if you so choose. Where an order is cancelled and has already been paid for, Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will refund the full amount. (see Returns and Refund Policy.)
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. is a VAT registered company, number 886882547.
VAT is chargeable on all goods and services we provide in the UK and within the EU, except books. The VAT rate is currently 20%.
VAT is not charged on goods and services sent to destinations outside the EU.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to enter or provide your payment details. By completing your payment details you confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. All fields indicated as compulsory must be completed. All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer. We take payment immediately, unless a previous agreement has been established. All products ordered will remain the property of Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. until full payment has been processed and products have been delivered to the address specified by you or they have been collected.
Purchases will be made in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP). International credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate and may add an additional processing or administration charge in relation to such payment which international credit card holders will be liable to pay.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. uses First Data Merchant Solutions who are part of First Data Corp for all our secure payment transactions. First Data Corp is a global technology leader using the latest security protocols that enables over six million businesses to process secure payments in 70 different countries across the world.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. does not store credit card details.
DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE
Products will be normally dispatched the same day if orders are made before 2pm provided that full payment has been cleared. Delivery charges and timescales may vary depending on the destination, type and availability of the product ordered. Ownership and responsibility of the product is transferred to the customer when the delivery or collection of the product has been completed.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that we are able to make delivery to the delivery address you provide and that you are available to accept delivery at this address on the delivery date. Please try to inform us as soon as possible if you know that you are not going to be in to accept delivery. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will not be liable in respect of any delay in delivery as a result of any act or omission by you. We are not able to despatch orders to PO Box addresses.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances (including without limitation, vehicle breakdown, traffic accident, major traffic delays or severe weather) we will do our best to contact you to rearrange an alternative delivery timeslot or date. We will not be responsible for any losses incurred due to a delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control.
If for any reason the delivery address is incorrect and therefore we are unable to despatch an order, we will endeavour to contact you via the contact details supplied to us by you. If we are unable to contact you or you fail to reply to our communication within 28 days, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund minus a Handling Administration Fee of £12.
If for any reason the couriers are unable to deliver your order, Dulwich Acupuncture will endeavour to contact you via the details you have supplied to us. If we are unable to contact you or you fail to reply to our communication, the couriers policy is to either return the goods to us or destroy them. If the goods are able to be returned to us, Dulwich Acupuncture reserves the right to charge a Handling Administration Fee of £25 per order plus any additional shipping charges incurred in the return of the goods, before any refund is issued. If the couriers destroy the goods, no refund whatsoever will be possible.
If we fail to comply with these Delivery Terms, we are responsible for any loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of the Delivery Terms or our negligence. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into a contract for sale.
UK orders are sent by DPD who provide a next working day delivery service for all but the remotest areas of the UK. For security this is a ‘signed for’ service. You will be e-mailed with parcel tracking information to enable you to track your parcel and to make alternative delivery arrangements if required.
Please note: scheduled delivery times do not include weekends, ie an order sent out on Friday will be delivered on Monday.
European orders are sent by DPD who provide day-definite delivery within the EU, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The transit time depends on the destination country, but is generally 2 – 3 business days. For security this is a ‘signed for’ service. You will be e-mailed with parcel tracking information to enable you to track your parcel online and to make alternative delivery arrangements if required.
Rest of the World orders are sent by DPD. Delivery times vary according to country and region, but are normally 3 – 7 business days. For security this is a ‘signed for’ service. You will be e-mailed with parcel tracking information to enable you to track your parcel online and to make alternative delivery arrangements if required.
Due to customs, legal, regulatory and certain practical restrictions applicable to orders placed for international delivery, some of our products may not be available for delivery to certain destinations outside the UK. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right to define what can and cannot be delivered to which destination.
Products are sold on a delivery duty unpaid basis. The recipient is liable for any import duty or other fees prior to or on delivery. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing an order for international delivery.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, you must notify Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. directly by email at email@example.com or by letter within 7 days of receiving your order. You may return your item for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Goods damaged in transit must be photographed as evidence whenever possible and be notified to Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and to the carrier within 3 days of receipt
Any such goods must be returned and you will receive a full refund. Please notify Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. by email at email@example.com within 7 days of any faulty goods received. If you experience any issues with your product after 14 days from the delivery date, please notify Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. as soon as possible.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will not replace faulty goods that have been damaged by accident, neglect, misuse, or normal wear and tear. All claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and in all cases Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right to inspect and verify the fault or damage before accepting a claim.
Where the order is cancelled but the product has been returned damaged, Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. reserves the right not to refund any monies and to take appropriate action to recover any loss suffered by Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. is committed to providing you with the best quality products and service and we aim to resolve any complaints fairly and efficiently.

There are certain liabilities which we cannot exclude by law and nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for fraud.
Products sold by Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. are not for use by the general public or by unqualified persons. At all times these products should be used correctly, safely and for the use they are intended for. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. accepts no liability or responsibility whatsoever for products sold that are used by unqualified persons or used in an incorrect, improper or otherwise unsuitable way.
We will not be liable for any loss of revenue, profits, anticipated savings, good-will or business opportunity, for any injury to your reputation or for any losses that are not reasonably foreseeable by us at the time your order is accepted.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. makes no claims whatsoever about any health benefits derived from the use of any of its products. No products sold by Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. are in any way a substitute for proper medical treatment by a physician or suitably qualified practitioner.
When you purchase any product through Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. we need to collect certain personal information as supplied by you. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will respect your privacy entirely. Any information that you provide about yourself is always held securely and that information will only be used in the ways described below:
- To quickly and accurately process your request regarding products or services.
- To send you occasional emails about various products and services or other information that we feel may be of interest to you.
Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd will only collect the minimum amount of data required to successfully process your order, ensure successful delivery and to efficiently reply to any queries or problems with your order. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd will never collect any Special Category Data.
If you change your name, address, email address or telephone number you must notify us directly. Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. is not responsible for notifications or other information not received due to a customer’s contact information not being updated.
Only Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd will send you these direct mailings. You can choose not to receive e-mails from us at any time by informing us.
If at any time you wish to opt out of our email list please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Removal from email list”. In this email please detail any and all email addresses you wish removed/deleted. Alternatively choose “unsubscribe” on receipt of an email.
To have your information deleted from our database, please send an email to email@example.com with the subject “Removal from database”. We will then delete all your information from our database. Please note: if you have an account for registering to seminars from Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. this information will also be deleted.
- Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. will not sell or exchange any of your details with any third parties for any reason except where certain specific details are necessary e.g. Registered e-mail agency and/or our shipping company to facilitate the provision of goods and services to you.
- Dulwich Acupuncture Ltd. may also use your information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis.
